Where does NOVA do projects?

What's the difference between a "custom smart solution" and something I can buy myself at the store?
This is probably the most asked question we receive and probably the longest to answer.
Smart devices consumers can purchase and set up on their own have limited functionality and usually have a shorter life span. Some, not all, work together with other devices so the end user will still have to have multiple apps to control different devices as opposed to controlling the entire home ecosystem from one location.
Additionally, these smart devices, such as Amazon Alexa and Google Home, don't operate within the same privacy standards our products use. These products are allowed to take any data received, such as voice commands, and sell that information to 3rd party marketers.
What if my smart home is hard to use?
Technology interfaces have a bad wrap for being ugly and confusing, so we changed it! Our projects have beautifully designed graphics to make operating your house a breeze because we believe technology should be both easy to use and easy on the eyes. Additionally, all our systems are custom, build in a way that makes sense for YOU to use them.

What do I do if something breaks or I need help?
Not to worry! Our systems are built to withstand the test of time but just like our phones occasionally need updates, so do our systems. If you find that your system isn't operating at 100%, our team is always here. In addition to our workman's warranty, we offer different tiers of service packages that will put your mind at ease. With guaranteed response times, a support portal with a current knowledge base, and professional support technicians readily available, your issues will be addressed and examined for repair in a professional and timely manner.
How much does a custom system cost?
Long story short: it depends.
“Typically, in a major remodel or new home build, the budgets for technology systems range from 4 - 8% of your home's value. This excludes lighting control, motorized shades, and Home Theater systems. For a lighting control system, figure between $4 - $7 per square foot if you are controlling most of the home’s interior and exterior. The ladder range is for a hardwired system, which provide the highest reliability. The lower range of the price scale includes wireless lighting solutions. For Home Theater systems, your budget can be anywhere between $10K and $1M (or more) depending on your desired level of performance.”
